Savin was to blame because strawberry talked about resorting to stealing food? Its not savins duty to give any beggar who comes asking a living wage, any more than it is elon, or gates, or whichever rich billionaires. Strawberry is struggling because he got arrested for tax evasion and is lashing out but it is still his own responsibility to get his life back on track. So I don't know blame the american penal system or something, god knows they deserve the hate

"Dommy furry bitches with big horse dicks" is completely my interests and I have no shortage of that, but even still you can't really pretend like the quality isn't in some star's gravity well. The variety, quality, and even quantity of content is just NOT there, at all, and then they have a departure of a massive talent like this (taking a good handful of unfinished characters and unimplemented content with him) without even really having anything promising on the horizon. How can anyone possibly expect people to be pleased with this.

They make 30k a month on these games and the biggest hurdle for them is finding quality writers. If they can't be bothered to invest a bit of that in retaining/hiring quality writers then these games will never reach their full potential much less be completed in a satisfactory way.

I'll take "subpar" writers if it means having actual finished stories, rather than some weird gatekept pieces that get a sprinkle of writing and then forgotten about with no one else being allowed to touch them as they keep rotting amongst other rotting pieces of writing. Our issue isn't about the game steering away or towards any interests, it's that it's not really doing anything other than waste time of everyone involved, writers and readers alike.

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game. Or rather the managment. They don´t have a single writer left on payroll.
All they have are community writer who they pay bounties out to sometimes, to help finish the main quest.

The what the fuck are they doing with all that money? If I remember correctly they have like 6 coders, If I can believe statements on the discord. And even then, content can take ages to get coded in. HOW?! What is happening over there? What are these guys doing? Why not employ some more writers?

So many patches have shit like, "Sorry I got ill I couldn´t really work on this" , or other excuses. And I mean IRL stuff can happen, life is a bitch, but so many times? And even if all that is true, such a project shouldn´t just rely on the main lead. They should be able to handle such situations.

I know how many people like to shit on COC2, and I also have some gripes with it, but I never felt like they wasted my time by releasing a patch. Or atleast I don´t remember them.

Man writing all that just reminds me how sad this all makes me. I really like these games, but then seeing atleast one of them run into the ground by IDK what, is just so dishearting. I really, really hope they get their shit together. I want more tits, I want a game after this (unlikely but cope) but for that they need to sort themselves out, maybe get a degree in project managment idk.

To be quite fair, I know this is gonna sound spiteful, but I'm super glad William left them. He was carrying the whole thing on his back, and they kept shoving him off projects he was passionate about only to force him to write worthless trash nobody's interested in. The TiTS team is full of talentless scrubs in the writing department, and clueless buffoons posing as coders. You can tell the MASSIVE drop in quality when you go from a William scene to one written by any other person in their team. It's good that they have a "credits" section in the scene so you can tell who wrote what. (I wrote this entire paragraph on Fenoxo's blog and they swiftly deleted my reply).

I gotta admit I love the fact that they had the audacity to say "they found something they didn't quite like in William's Operation Deck and Sophora projects", so they dumped it at the very last second as it was coming out the door. It's even more laughable when they constantly push out shitty ass updates that break half the game because their coders are complete mandrills who can't test nor program even if their lives depended on it.

Hope William's departure signals the downfall of this scamfest and it forces them actually get down to work and finish the damn game instead of being stuck on Phaedra for 2+ years now.

My personal favourite was "I couldn't do shit for 2/3 weeks because I needed to smuggle my trans wife across the border because Donald Trump won the election"..

All in all TiTs' "downfall" comes down to horrible leadership, and therefore an equally bad command structure. (apart from the constantly bickering manchildren)
If I'm absent from work for whatever reason, I have my right hand man, that I have trained well enough so he can take over my job. The same goes for his next in line, and so forth. FenCo seems to have no safety system like that to fall back on when the going gets rough.

The problem is that Fen's right hand man is Savin. He seems to not only be the only one on the team who can lead a project he is also someone who should never be in a position of authority. With the amount of money they make they should be able to actually hire atleast a few part-time writers and someone to help them manage the teams.

Since they already have a number of coders then how hard would it be to delegate a task for each one? Like some work with a few writers to input their story content while another makes sure to bug hunt and make sure the code is uniform.

I believe them when they say they're sick. I've got a friend who's got real bad UC (that's not what it is, but it's what the doctors think it is) and it stops them from even working from home a lot of days. We're talking debilitating pain for literal days at a time. I'm not about to invalidate Fen & Co.'s experience on that, but that just goes to show how dogshit their admin structure is. Like, YOU know you have health problems, YOU know how fast others tend to work, YOU know you need to hire more/more competent people. You can't keep being your own enemy like this.

Yeah man, how dare we mere plebeians on this forum about pirating porn games display our displeasure and/or negativity in any fashion in regards to a game that has consistently promised and then underperformed in just about every facet of its development for the over 6+ years of its existence.

Just how could we be such fools for extending goodwill and hoping things would improve for the betterment of the product we want to enjoy just to have our hopes further dashed by constant retirement or leaving of fan-favourite writers, abandoned content, and outright unfinished characters and areas labelled as "feature complete" despite everyone knowing damn well they're not.

Truly this must be our fault entirely and not the fact that the heads behind these games are in a neverending ego shitflinging fest because they can't go one day without infighting each other to save themselves. Surely not that.

you know, reading through this forum makes me think: "There's a bunch of people here with varied but similar tastes, all know what makes a good game, and all know how good or bad writing can be percieved. All are upset with nearly every other game that even approaches decent - for good reasons - and all are constantly hoping for the next good release, only to be let down."

I, for one, can't code for shit. I also can't speak for anyone else, but I know damn well my writing would eventually turn into inane smutty rambling, and I'd be christened as TOBs the Second. At that point I'd probably find the nearest pier, toss my PC into the ocean and move to some isolated part of the world to hide from the shame.

The reason is quite simple, they have no consequences for being """sick""" There won't be a manager on their ass for missing work, nor would they also get penalized for missing deadlines by investors. The complete liberty in which crowdfunding grants you, just invites absolute sloth-like behavior and business managing. After all, why do actual work when you can just drag your feet for a decade if you are going to receive a 30k check regardless?

I can guarantee you, if their patreon got canceled tomorrow, this game would be finished in less than 3 months and the full release will be out in a storefront somewhere for like 10-20$
