Britney is probably no different than most women out there. She messed up in life with wrong decisions, went downhill, screwed a bunch of guys and seems to be desperate.
Only difference is is the girls that do not have a media magnifying glass on them 24/7 is they can hide their past a bit easier, especially if it is just a fling, and not have to worry about getting beyond a name and a place to meet up. We watched Britney climb to fame, fall down the fame mountain, and recover.
We shouldn't hate on her due to stupid mistakes. Especially considering when someone becomes a household name life gets really out of control and next thing you know you might start spiraling and do anything to get that control back.
It's a shame what happened to her and many well known names. Especially in this country where we seemingly despise celebrities yet can't get enough of them.

IMO, it's ok to have an opinion, but wrong for the average person to pass judgment on someone like her. The average person will never know the fame and wealth she has. To become so famous and so wealthy at such a young age, and to be exposed by the media every second of one's life - that could easily drive anyone over the edge. It has destroyed many celebrities.

You were far more interesting when it looked like you were on the brink of suicide at least then you reminded me of the many women in my own life whose path to self destruction was paved with the souls of those they did not know emotionally or even personally in some cases. Having a bond like that where you can project your own desperations and horrors onto someone and have them projected right back is special. People like that, especially those within the public eye are rare finds nowadays - not since Diana's death anyway. It really is a shame that I am now going to have to live without that presence hanging over me any longer to look to for guidance with some of the new women I'm grooming. I'm not quite sure how I can live with what I've done now.
