| Raffina and the duke were a riot, I thought that Shion was going to be unstoppable but he barely did anything against that new stronger goblin, I guess elemental attacks are still magic based and magical beast will then have natural resistance to that type of attacks. |
| Sister-chan is laying in bed and drama ensues, entirely within this block room. As usual with these just-add-water fantasy, the isekai element is irrelevant and unnecessary. Edit: If he's gonna spill the beans about magic to these new characters, shouldn't he do it out in the forest and not in the TOWN SQUARE where thousands of people might see? Like isn't magic supposed to be verboten in this world... Entirely too much exposition in this. Please, isekai makers |

| Essentially the disease is mana depletion and exhaustion which isn't recovering naturally as it should. I liked how the father and Marie word inspired Shion. He has no affiliation to save anyone so acting naturally to be with person he care is above saving world. That scene was handled well. New cast is intresting to say the least. Probably will end the season with a big confrontation. I liked slow SoL now it's getting exciting. |
| Gotta love how they emphasized Raphina's entrance from being armored to becoming a beautiful young lady... but she is a muscle head... and was annoying since she's in her body armor. Why is she wearing such a thing in the first place? (I felt Lalatina/Darkness vibe from her... is it a reference or a copy paste?!) Also, they emphasize her body so much in her battle, which felt rather... how sinful a man can be...?! The studio is too cultured, but not cultured enough to remove the unnecessary expose. Yes, the rolling duke, but other than that, he was quick enough to dispatch the people under his command to properly stop the guild from monopolizing the newly developed torches as a way to protect only themselves. Nice duke, even if your entrance was weird. P.S. They also gave the loli-monster-maniac a speech and that was weird, because... who needs another maniac. Passionate characters are okay. But the weirdest of all is the Duke-character which was supposed to be cool and collected man—rolled and rolled on the ground because... of a petty reason. P.S. #2 Edited for more clarification. P.S. #3 I guess people still hate the concept of a man in his oldies gets isekai'd and becoming a child, but still kept watching it... lmao. UNBELIEVABLE. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Ok this was the worst episode so far. I really liked that this anime due to the interesting story and that it actually had normal characters, for the most part, that didn't follow the annoying anime tropes. Now they have introduced the Duke, the Blonde female knight, and the purple haired girl, and all 3 are annoying characters following the annoying anime trope. This doesn't add anything enjoyable to the show and makes a mockery of the seriousness of their situation and mission to try to help and heal people with the strange illness. I would have loved to have the Duke be a wise strong leader that cared about his people, the female blonde be a strong brave courageous knight that made capturing monsters look easy, and the purple haired girl be a studious smart knowledgeable intelligent girl that explained monster to him. I am disappointed that this was the choice of the writer, instead of continuing how they had been writing the story. |

| @Luxeraph Exactly, I was enjoying how the show was progressing up to the point they introduced the "duke, blonde knight, purple haired girl", which totally changed the style of the show, and became extremely annoying. I would have liked the anime to continue as it was and have them actually take this seriously. |

| Being at Marie's side and doing nothing made sure that Shion took care of his sister, though Gawain's realization that the ghost monster is to blame for the matter, the adamant refusal for the son to take care of the monster so that not just Marie's life can be saved, but countless others as well, his father drives home the fact that one dat, his magic would be used to save people. Shion knowing full well of the selfless act of his older sister, but yet discovering something's amiss when it concerns the very foundation of magic, and Gawain bringing him to meet Duke Balfe...he's certainly the unexpected comedic character, Still, with the severity of the lethargy disaease, Shion doing all in his power to save Marie by experimentation, meeting the people that would help him: Cole, Raphina and Brigitte, Shion is not here for games and wants the problem resolved ASAP, starting with living body experiments with monsters to combat the wraith. Unfortunately, that looks like it'll need more work from just Shion alone... |
